OptGo, Inc. (“OptGo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website https://optgo.com and the application platform at https://app.optgo.com (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit the website, sign up as a Brand or Ambassador, or otherwise interact with the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
1.1 You provide directly

- Identity & compliance documents: government-issued ID, IRS Form W-9 (including Taxpayer Identification Number), business license, insurance certificates, and signed Independent Contractor agreements.
- Payment information: ACH routing/account numbers, bank verification details, and Stripe Connect account information needed to disburse payouts. Sensitive payment fields are tokenized or stored encrypted at rest where required.
- Marketing & operational content: campaign briefs, training documents, pitch material, marketing assets, custom interview questions, and any text or media you choose to upload.
- Communications: messages you send via the in-app messaging system, contact form submissions, and support tickets.
1.2 Generated by your use of the Service
- Activity & route data: GPS coordinates, accuracy tier, timestamps, dispositions, photo proofs, shift heartbeats, and appointment outcomes.
- AI testing data: voice recordings of practice and scored attempts, transcripts, and grader scores. Voice audio is processed for grading and discarded; transcripts and scores are retained.
- Device & technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, time zone, push-notification subscription endpoints, and crash logs.
- Cookies & similar technologies: session cookies and analytics tags. See our Cookie Policy.
1.3 From third parties
- OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft / Azure AD): name, email, profile image, and OAuth scope tokens.
- Payment processors (Stripe Connect): account status, KYC verification results, payout history, and dispute information.
- Background-check providers (where required by Brand or law): identity verification and report results.
- Mapping providers (Google Maps): geocoded addresses and place IDs.
2. How we use information
- To create accounts, authenticate users, and operate the marketplace.
- To match Ambassadors to Brand campaigns and verify field activity via GPS.
- To process payments, calculate platform fees, fan out recruiter splits, and issue 1099-NEC forms via Stripe.
- To detect fraud, abuse, and compliance violations, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To send transactional notifications via email, SMS, and push (see Section 4).
- To improve the Service, including AI grader tuning and analytics.
3. How we share information
We share information only where necessary to operate the Service, with these categories:
- Marketplace counterparties. Brands see Ambassador profiles, scored AI test results (without raw transcripts), star ratings, and campaign activity. Ambassadors see Brand profiles, campaign details, and aggregate ratings.
- Service providers. Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), Google Cloud (mapping & geocoding), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database & auth), Checkr (background checks where required), DocuSeal (e-signature), ElevenLabs (AI voice agent), and OpenAI (AI grader). Each operates under a Data Processing Agreement.
- Compliance & legal. We may disclose information when required by subpoena, court order, or law, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. If we are acquired, merged, or sell substantially all assets, your information may transfer subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.
4. SMS / Text Messaging — A2P 10DLC disclosures
4.1 Programs we operate
OptGo operates the following SMS programs. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from OptGo at that number.
- Account & transactional alerts: account verification codes, appointment confirmations, route assignments, payout notifications, dispute updates, campaign approvals, and security alerts.
- Operational notifications: shift reminders, new-message alerts, task and callback reminders, and support-ticket updates. All OptGo SMS is sent only to registered OptGo users (Ambassadors, Brand operators, and administrators).
4.2 How you opt in
You opt in by (a) providing your phone number during signup or in your profile and (b) affirmatively agreeing to receive SMS as part of the relevant flow (e.g., enabling SMS notifications or requesting an SMS verification code). Your consent is not a condition of using the Service for non-SMS purposes.
4.3 Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your activity. A typical active Ambassador receives 5–25 messages per week (route updates, payouts, campaign alerts). A typical Brand operator receives 2–10 messages per week (applications, campaign status). Verification codes and security alerts are sent only when triggered.
4.4 Opting out
Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or STOPALL) to any OptGo SMS to unsubscribe immediately from non-essential messages. You will receive one confirmation message. To re-enable, reply START or UNSTOP.
Note: certain mandatory transactional messages (security verification codes, dispute notices) may continue to be sent even after STOP because they are required for the operation and security of your account.
4.5 Help
Reply HELP to any OptGo SMS for assistance, or contact us at support@optgo.com.
4.6 Carrier disclaimers
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not charge for messages, but your carrier may.
4.7 No mobile information sharing for marketing
OptGo does not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or related consent records to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the SMS programs described in this Section 4 and to operate the Service. This restriction applies regardless of any other data-sharing provision in this Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion. Most account information is editable inside the Service. To request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, contact privacy@optgo.com.
- Marketing email. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails via the unsubscribe link in any such email.
- SMS. Reply STOP at any time (see Section 4.4).
- Push notifications. Disable in your operating-system or browser settings.
- Cookies. Manage in your browser; see our Cookie Policy.
5.1 California, Colorado, Virginia, and other state rights
Residents of certain states have additional rights including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell), and the right to limit use of sensitive information. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@optgo.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations (tax, anti-fraud, dispute resolution), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Voice recordings used for AI grading are processed and discarded; transcripts and scores are retained as part of the scored test record. Payment records are retained for the duration required by tax law.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access controls, row-level security on user data, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach, we will notify affected users as required by law.
8. International users
OptGo is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, which may not provide the same protections as your jurisdiction.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@optgo.com for deletion.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
