SMS Terms
Last updated: May 9, 2026
These SMS Terms describe the text-messaging programs operated by OptGo, Inc. ( “OptGo,” “we,” “our,” “us”) and the terms under which you receive them. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from OptGo at that number.
1. Programs
- Account & transactional alerts: account verification codes, password reset codes, security alerts, appointment confirmations, route assignments, payout notifications, dispute updates, campaign approvals, and Brand application status.
- Operational notifications: shift reminders, new-message alerts, task and callback reminders, and support-ticket updates. All OptGo SMS is sent only to registered OptGo users (Ambassadors, Brand operators, and administrators) at the mobile number on their account.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by one of the following:
- Providing your mobile phone number during signup or in your profile settings and enabling SMS notifications.
- Requesting an SMS verification code (e.g., during signup or password reset).
- Replying to an OptGo SMS confirming your subscription.
Consent is not a condition of using non-SMS portions of the Service. You can use OptGo's web app and email channels without ever opting into SMS.
3. Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your role and activity:
- Active Ambassadors: typically 5–25 messages per week (route updates, payouts, campaign alerts).
- Brand operators: typically 2–10 messages per week (applications, campaign status).
Verification codes and security alerts are sent only when triggered by your activity.
4. Opting out — STOP keywords
Reply STOP (or any of UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or STOPALL) to any OptGo SMS to unsubscribe immediately from non-essential messages. You will receive one confirmation message. To re-enable, reply START or UNSTOP.
Note: certain mandatory transactional messages (security verification codes and dispute notices) may continue to be sent even after STOP because they are required for the operation and security of your account. These are not promotional.
5. HELP keyword
Reply HELP to any OptGo SMS for assistance. You will receive a message identifying the OptGo SMS program and a link to support. You can also reach us at support@optgo.com.
6. Carrier and rate disclaimers
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- OptGo does not charge for SMS, but your carrier may. Check with your carrier for your plan's text-messaging fees.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort.
7. Supported carriers
OptGo SMS is sent via Twilio over A2P 10DLC channels. Major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Mint Mobile, and their MVNO partners are supported. Other carriers may also receive messages but are not guaranteed.
8. Privacy
Your mobile information and SMS opt-in data are handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or related consent records to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the SMS programs described in these Terms and to operate the Service.
9. Changes
OptGo may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting program scope or your opt-in/opt-out rights will be announced via SMS or email at least 7 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at https://optgo.com/legal/sms.
